Overview
Katman Siphonic Designer brings the design of a siphonic roof drainage system into one web-based tool. Enter the roof area, the rainfall intensity and the pipe network, and it sizes every pipe from your catalog, checks the line against your design limits and shows where and why a line fails. It is built for siphonic system manufacturers, with their own products in it, and for the mechanical consultants who design roof drainage for buildings.

Step 1 · Project
Enter the client, the site, the roof area, the rainfall intensity and the pipe material. The design flow is shown right away.

Step 2 · Lines and Outlets
Split the roof into drainage lines, each with its roof area and its roof outlets from your catalog. A bar shows how much of the roof the lines cover.

Step 3 · Pipe Network
Type the pipes into a table and see them drawn as an isometric as you go. The checks run as you edit and point to the pipe, joint or outlet at fault.

Step 4 · Calculate
Calculate sizes every pipe and lists each criterion with its value. Select a pipe to see its results. If the line fails, flows can be balanced between the outlets.

Step 5 · Report
Pick the report's pages, check the preview and download the PDF.
