This notice explains how Katmansoft Mühendislik ve Yazılım Ltd. Şti. handles personal data collected through katmansoft.com. The KVKK Disclosure sets out the same in the form Turkish law requires.
1. Who we are
The data controller is Katmansoft Mühendislik ve Yazılım Ltd. Şti., Alacamescit Mahallesi, Tek Sokak No: 12, Daire: 2 Heykel, Osmangazi, 16030 Bursa, Türkiye. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. What we collect
When you write to us through the contact form or a product page's demo form, we keep the name, email address, company and phone number (if you give them), subject and message you enter. We also keep the language of the page and your IP address.
When you visit the website, our servers and our network provider record your IP address, the address requested, the time and your browser's description.
To count visits, Cloudflare Web Analytics records which pages are viewed, how fast they load, the page you came from, and your browser, device type and country. It uses no cookies and doesn't recognize you from one visit to the next.
The free tools run in your browser. The values you enter in them aren't sent to us.
3. Why we use it
- to answer your message, and to prepare a demo or an offer you asked for,
- to keep the forms free of spam (before a message is accepted, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that it comes from a person),
- to keep the website secure and working, and to find and fix errors,
- to see how many people visit which pages, so we can improve the website.
We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't sell it.
4. Cookies
The website uses only cookies it needs to work. These are one that protects the forms against forged submissions, the security cookies our network provider Cloudflare sets to tell people from bots, and, for our staff only, the sign-in cookie of the staff area. Visits are counted without cookies, and there are no advertising or tracking cookies.
5. Who we share it with
- Cloudflare, Inc., which carries the website's traffic, protects it, runs the Turnstile check and counts visits,
- the providers that host the website and deliver our email,
- YouTube (Google), only if you press play on a video,
- public authorities, when the law requires it.
Cloudflare and some of these providers process data outside Türkiye, including in the United States. Such transfers are made under Article 9 of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).
6. How long we keep it
- messages sent through the forms are kept for 2 years from when they arrive, then deleted automatically (we may delete them sooner),
- the website's technical logs are kept for up to 30 days.
7. Security
The website is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Messages can be read only by our staff who are allowed to, and what they do is recorded.
8. Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and use the other rights in Article 11 of the KVKK. The KVKK Disclosure explains these rights and how to apply. Write to us at [email protected].
9. Changes to this notice
We update this notice when what we do with personal data changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
